Hi friend 👋
Welcome back to your monthly tour of what's new across Neynar — smarter agents, clearer onchain data, more mini app experiments… and the occasional reminder that the internet is a weird place.
Let's get into it.
🔗 Map 0x addresses to apps
Developers kept asking: “Which app does this 0x address belong to — Base, Farcaster, Zapper, or another?”
You can now query Neynar to map 0x addresses to Farcaster apps.
Get a close approximation of which client / app a given address is associated with.
Useful for analytics, fraud checks, or UX tweaks (“this action came from TBA vs Farcaster vs Zapper”).
Note: this mapping isn't recorded at the protocol level, so it's best treated as probabilistic, not absolute truth.
👉 Check the reference in the API docs and reach out if you've got a specific use case in mind.
🤖 Ask @neynar: now with more tools (and more opinions)
The in-feed agent keeps leveling up — and not just in sass.
You can now:
Ask dev questions with real code examples
e.g. “Show me curl examples for time-series cast metrics and per-cast reactions.”
The agent responds with copy-pasteable curls so you don't have to hunt through docs.
Run structured analysis on yourself. Ask things like:
“Analyze my casts over the last year and tell me my biggest weakness.”
“Who's liked most of my casts in the last week?”
“Which of my posts actually did well?”
Pick random subsets from larger sets
e.g. “Find every user whose casts I liked in the last 7 days, sort them by likes, randomly pick 3 of the top 10, and tag them.” Great for:
Giveaways
Spotlighting your favorite accounts
Games & interactive mini apps
Power other agents with your own data
Neynar AI is now being used to search external databases and answer questions on the timeline for other projects — not just Neynar itself.
Try it:
In-feed: tag @neynar on Farcaster
Mini app: ai.neynar.com
🧠 Brand & project agents: powered by Neynar
We're continuing to expand the “agent for your brand” pattern:
Agents can query your own datasets (docs, FAQs, stats, internal tools).
They understand Farcaster context (casts, users, relationships).
They respond in your voice / lore, not ours.
They know when not to respond — so they don't just spam every thread.
You're already seeing this with projects like @ampsfun, @intori, and others using Neynar under the hood to answer questions directly on the feed.
If you'd like to explore this for your app or brand, reply with “brand agent” and we'll chat.
📡 Trade webhooks & real-time feeds
Onchain apps built on Farcaster don't need to index everything themselves anymore. A quick recap of what's live and used in the wild:
Trade webhooks for Farcaster users
Subscribe to trades by FID, not by wallet address.
Optionally filter by Neynar score or USD trade size.
Perfect for copy trading, alerts, leaderboards, or real-time dashboards.
Trenches: real-time ticker feed
@kompreni's Trenches shows a live feed of every cast with a $ticker, using Neynar scores to keep it high-signal.
Great example of mixing onchain, social, and quality filters in one place.
If you're building anything in the “onchain + social” arena and still indexing everything yourself, reply with “trades” and we'll help wire the webhooks up.
🎛 Mini App Studio in the wild
Builders continue to ship surprising things on top of Neynar's stack:
Community highlights
Music from your Farcaster profile
New degen client
Degen Hub, a new Farcaster client, is using Neynar under the hood to power social + tipping flows.
More “vibes first, code later” builds
Trivia apps, prediction markets, matching tools, and more are being built by talking to Mini App Studio rather than opening an editor.
If you've been sitting on a mini app idea because “it's too much work,” hit reply with “studio” — we're looking for more folks to test the no-code flow.
☎️ Relaya: experiments, unlaunches & lessons
In early October, we launched an experiment at relaya.ai — a voice agent that:
Called annoying phone trees for you
Navigated menus
Waited on hold
Either completed simple tasks or got a human on the line
People genuinely saved hours of time using it (a 30-minute call became 2–3 minutes of actual human conversation). Last month, we shared a “delayed unlaunch” update:
The experiment worked, but we're pausing it in its current form.
We're taking the learnings (what worked, what broke, what people actually wanted) back into the broader Neynar agent stack.
No pivot — Farcaster tooling remains the core focus.
If you like when teams talk openly about what didn't stick the first time, this is one of those moments.
If you've built something cool with any of this, hit reply with a link — we'd love to feature a small “built with Neynar” gallery in an upcoming issue.
